We store a lot of emotions in our body, the nervous system runs through our spine – back bends improve blood flow along the spine, thus flushing the whole nervous system with fresh oxygenated blood.

Religion, spirituality and what is in between
I assume that many people turn to religion, because they were secular and had some kind of affinity toward religion, they do it to feel something deeper and meaningful in this life.
I also turned to Buddhism from that reason.
However when I look at Buddhism (which has vary nuances and different movements) I don’t see something that I see in religion; and that something is hierarchy. Rigid Hierarchy, criticism, interpretations and prohibitions.
How to survive life with a short memory
My memory is sooooooo short! If I need to write down on my shopping list in my phone – I am reciting the thing *1000 times until the app is opening.
Which means a lot of times I say out loud to myself toilet paper, toilet paper toilet paper toilet paper toilet paper toilet paper toilet paper toilet paper toilet paper toilet paper toilet paper...
Because by the time the app open – I might forget. “
Mindfulness and posture
When I’m walking down the street I notice my body and my movement. In the winter I walk fast, my body is bowed and stiffed, the head is trying to cover from the rain or wind, the gaze is not forward because there is not much to see due to the darkness, you can barely see people.
In the summer the whole body is relaxed and open. The chest is open, the legs are thrown away from the torso in kind of uncaring way.
