In the picture you can see me on top of a mountain in New Zealand, it is not from the Doubtful sounds :) but still breath taking landscape!

I would like to tell you about a moment in my life.
It was after my army service, we call it “the big trip”, we usually do it around age 21, when the compulsory duty in Israel is finished.
I stood on the edge of a high cliff looking down at a wide fiord in New Zealand 'Doubtful sounds'.
Staring at the view, I had just finished canoeing in the streams of the fiord below; and while looking at the breath-taking landscape I had a moment of enlightenment.
My whole body felt alive, I felt connected to a Celestine energy, It was an uplifting spiritual moment for me.

When I depicted this moment to my family on email, they thought I was on drugs…. I wasn’t.
At that moment on that cliff something inside me changed and made me feel so small in a huge astonishing world and that there is so much more to see and explore than our own little bubble back home. I decided that it is not right to live without seeing all this beauty.
It made me experience that when you go out of your comfort zone, you reach amazing new places in your consciousness.

What also happened at that moment was that I accepted the universe and the present moment as it was. I was completely immersed in the present. In the existence. Usually in life we often say to ourselves, if this and this happened, I would be happy. I would be relaxed, it would be perfect.
But when we throw away this model, we realize that the present moment is perfect as is, and we can see and accept it. When we look at beautiful nature we don’t feel that something need to change or be different, we accept it as it is – in all it’s beauty. We don’t say “Oh this is such a beautiful rainbow/mountain ridge but if it was a little bit bent to the right – it would have been perfect".

Remember the moments you saw something that took your breath away. That left you in awe. These moments will teach your mind-set to be grateful again and to reconnect With the hardwired happiness inside you.
