Solar Plexus Chakra

Today on our trip through the chakras, we talk about the third one.
Here are the first two for reminder: https://goo.gl/ZCCfIH & https://goo.gl/3b2BZ2

Solar plexus chakra resides between the navel and solar plexus, it is related to our personality and ego. It is related to our will power, our self-esteem and self-discipline.
This chakra bring questions on the perception of who you are, your confidence, responsibility and reliability. Are you proactive, reactive or inactive? Maybe you are balanced between them.
When you have challenges in life, do you move forward with confidence? How do you choose to do the move?

The main challenge for the third chakra is to use your personal power in a balanced manner. What does that mean? It means consciously harnessing the energy of this chakra. It means being proactive rather than reactive or inactive.

Excessive third chakra means you react to life circumstances, maybe emotionally out-bursting and often stressed out.
Blocked or deficient third chakra means allowing life pass by while doing the least effort.

To balance this chakra you can meditate with the help of:

Or if you prefer guided meditation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pz47Fv_TQDU

Its color is yellow, sign of fire, you can dress with this color or plant it in your surroundings.
Here are some affirmations you can ponder about:

This chakra is connected to our core, our action center, where there is a big nerves system that activate us after receiving messages from the brain. It is connected to our second brain in the stomach. I wrote about it here: https://goo.gl/g7GAWF
Moving actively from the core is natural movement.

Yoga poses you can practice are;
Powerful, strong postures such as: Warrior 1, 2, 3, Bow pose , five pointed star pose, extended hand to big toe pose, lunges.

Core postures: Boat, plank, Setu bandha (half bridge), abdominal twists.
Easy pose and baby pose for relaxation.
